Job summary

Alcami Corporation is seeking a Scientist II for on-site analytical testing in Durham, NC. The role focuses on routine and non-routine testing to support pharmaceutical product development and manufacturing, including method development/validation using HPLC, dissolution, GC, KF, and UV.

The position requires strong data interpretation, documentation, and safety practices, with 100% on-site work and a 1st shift schedule Monday to Friday. Knowledge of cGMP and lab software is essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Chemistry or related field with relevant laboratory experience.
• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of related pharmaceutical/lab experience or an Associate's with 10+ years.

Responsibilities

• Develops analytical methods for HPLC, dissolution, GC, UV, and KF analyses.
• Performs assays, dissolution, impurities, moisture content, and identification tests.
• Interprets data and ensures accuracy and technical soundness.
• Writes procedures, protocols, and reports; maintains instruments and safety.
• Ensures compliance with cGMP and company training requirements.
