Job summary

Alcami Corporation is seeking a Scientist I (Chemistry) to perform analytical routine testing in support of pharmaceutical product development or manufacturing. The role commonly uses HPLC, TOC, UV, osmolality, density, and pH; methods may be USP, EP, or client-provided.

This on-site, first-shift position requires strong data interpretation, instrument knowledge, and adherence to cGMP. You will maintain lab stock, ensure safety, and use Empower3, ProCal, Master Control, and ELN to document

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry with chemistry coursework and 2+ years experience.
• Associates degree in Chemistry or related field with 6+ years experience.
• Experience in pharmaceutical laboratory environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Performs analysis using techniques such as pH, TOC, moisture, identification and particle size.
• Evaluates and interprets generated data for technical accuracy.
• Maintains laboratory stock of reagents and clean glassware.
• Ensures compliance with cGMP and safety requirements.
• Operates laboratory software packages (Empower3, ProCal, Master Control, ELN).
