Qualifications

• Clearance: Ability to obtain a Public Trust.
• Strong Linux, HPC schedulers, GPUs, and large-scale storage experience.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to scientists and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior technical authority for HPC operations, architecture, and performance optimization.
• Guide optimization of scientific workloads including genomics, bioinformatics, modeling, and AI/ML pipelines.
• Lead strategy for storage, parallel file systems, networking, data movement, and large-scale workflows.
• Coordinate with FDA scientists to align resources with mission needs.
• Prepare technical documentation and engineering recommendations.
