Job summary

General Dynamics - IT in Maryland is seeking a Software Integration Engineer to test, evaluate, integrate, and troubleshoot the HPC software stack and related system issues on mission-critical government projects.

The role requires expertise with Linux CLI, Bash/Python scripting, Slurm, IaC (Salt, Ansible), HPC file systems like Lustre/GPFS/Panasas, and experience supporting large-scale HPC deployments.

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required, along with 10+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph clearance.
• 10+ years of related experience.
• Proficiency with Linux CLI and Linux toolset.
• Experience with Bash/Python scripting.
• Solid understanding of Slurm workload management.
• Experience with HPC integration, evaluation, and system administration.
• Troubleshooting HPC software/hardware issues.
• IaC principles with Salt and Ansible.
• Familiar with Lustre, GPFS, Panasas file systems.
• Familiar with Ganglia and Nagios monitoring.
• Familiar with GPU, FPGA, ASIC acceleration.
• Familiar with InfiniBand and Slingshot interconnects.
• Familiar with open-source HPC benchmarking tools.
