Job summary

InvestedintheMission seeks a System Administrator to own an advanced HPC/IT environment, including NVIDIA GPU systems, data-center deployment, and cloud integration. You will document meticulously and collaborate with engineers to optimize workflows and future scalability.

The role emphasizes hands-on hardware, virtualization, and cross-team coordination, with clear focus on security readiness and IT modernization, including AWS and LLM infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/IS/Computer Engineering or equivalent
• 9+ years of IT/systems administration experience
• Experience with Linux in mission-critical environments
• Experience installing/configuring enterprise GPU-accelerated compute systems (NVIDIA)
• Experience with data-center deployment and lifecycle management
• Familiarity with virtualization and enterprise networking troubleshooting
• Strong technical writing and direct interaction with users
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain HPC hardware including NVIDIA accelerators
• Lead hardware installation, sustainment, and lifecycle in data center environments
• Maintain technical docs, diagrams, and SOPs for scalable deployment
• Collaborate with on-site data center admins to streamline troubleshooting
• Partner with contract engineers to optimize system performance
• Support virtualization efforts and IT modernization including AWS/LLM infra
