Job summary

5C Data Centers is seeking a Systems Administrator Lead for the Night Shift to support large-scale HPC and AI infrastructure, GPU clusters, and the compute/storage stack across data centers and cloud environments.

You will mentor junior engineers, own incident response, and drive reliability through root-cause analyses, documentation, and collaboration with Network Engineering, Deployment, and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• 7+ years of Linux systems administration, HPC/AI infrastructure, or data center operations.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise server hardware and large-scale NVIDIA GPU infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux-based HPC and AI compute environments, including large-scale GPU clusters.
• Diagnose hardware, OS, driver, firmware, networking, and storage failures and perform root-cause analysis.
• Serve as senior escalation point for complex incidents affecting production compute infrastructure and restore service.
