Job summary

NorthMark Strategies LLC is seeking an HPC Storage Engineer in Dallas to design, deploy, and manage multi-PB storage that supports research workloads. You will optimize workflows, apply IaC practices, and partner with researchers, software engineers, and vendors to ensure scalable, reliable storage infrastructure.

The role emphasizes hands-on storage architecture, performance tuning, and a collaborative, results-driven approach in a high-demand HPC environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience deploying high-performance and/or clustered filesystems at scale.
• Knowledge of data center storage technologies (file, block, object).
• Team player with collaboration skills and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage multi-PB storage systems for compute.
• Automate processes with Infrastructure-as-Code for repeatable storage products.
• Act as storage expert across projects and coordinate with researchers and engineers.
• Collaborate with customers to streamline storage workflows.
