Job summary

Dell GmbH is seeking an experienced HPC Storage Administrator to join our Services team in a remote role based in Washington. You will design, implement, and optimize high‑speed storage infrastructure supporting large‑scale computing for researchers and engineers.

Lead a small team, monitor performance, ensure data security and DR readiness, and drive storage solutions including GPFS, NFS, NAS/SAN. We value strong Red Hat administration, scripting with Python/Ansible, and hands‑on hardware

Qualifications

• 5+ years of high-speed storage in an HPC environment, including large data backups.
• GPFS experience (PixStor preferred).
• NFS and Red Hat administration.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize the storage infrastructure for HPC environments.
• Design, configure and maintain parallel file systems, NAS, SAN and object storage platforms.
• Monitor performance and capacity, troubleshoot issues, implement backup and disaster recovery strategies.
