Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC in the United States seeks a Senior HPC Networking Engineer to design, deploy, manage, and troubleshoot high-performance networks for AI, ML, and data-intensive workloads. The role focuses on InfiniBand fabrics and Fortinet security in a scalable HPC infrastructure.

You will collaborate with compute, storage, and platform teams, document architectures, and participate in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in network engineering for HPC or data centers.
• Strong InfiniBand experience (Mellanox/NVIDIA).
• Solid TCP/IP, BGP/OSPF, VLANs, QoS knowledge.
• Fortinet deployment and troubleshooting experience.
• Linux proficiency and scripting for automation (Bash, Python).
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain HPC networks with InfiniBand fabrics.
• Troubleshoot InfiniBand and Ethernet issues to ensure performance.
• Manage InfiniBand components: switches, HCAs, subnet managers, fabric configs.
• Performance tuning, monitoring, and capacity planning for HPC networks.
• Implement Fortinet security (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer).
• Collaborate with compute, storage, and platform teams for workloads.
• Document network architectures, configurations, and procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotations and escalation support.
• Lead or contribute to upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
