Job summary

Mirantis in the United States seeks a Senior HPC Networking Engineer to design, deploy, and manage high-performance networks for HPC workloads, with a strong focus on InfiniBand.

You will work with Fortinet security solutions and collaborate with compute and storage teams to ensure scalable, reliable infrastructure. The role includes on-call rotations and opportunities to influence network upgrades and deployments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of network engineering experience in HPC or data center environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain HPC network infrastructures focusing on InfiniBand.
• Troubleshoot InfiniBand and Ethernet issues to minimize downtime.
• Manage InfiniBand switches, HCAs, subnet managers, and fabric configurations.
• Perf tuning, monitoring, and capacity planning for HPC networks.
• Implement Fortinet security solutions (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer).
• Diagnose routing, switching latency, and throughput in hybrid environments.
• Collaborate with compute, storage, and platform teams for HPC workloads.
• Document network architecture and procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotations and escalation.
• Lead or contribute to upgrades, migrations, deployments.
