Base-2 Solutions in Bethesda, MD seeks a Senior Systems Engineer for HPC & GPU infrastructure to design and optimize high-performance clusters supporting Intelligence Community customers, on-site at the customer site.

You will install and maintain GPU/HPC hardware, analyze performance, configure Slurm, PBS, Apache Airflow, and Kubernetes, and implement power-management and testing strategies across Linux environments. A TS/SCI clearance and DoD DoD 8570.11 IAT II certification are required.

Qualifications

• DoD 8570.11 IAT Level II minimum certification required.
• US Citizenship with Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Responsabilités

• Install and maintain GPU and HPC hardware on-premises and in the cloud.
• Analyze HPC/GPU cluster performance and identify bottlenecks.
• Install and configure Slurm, PBS, Apache Airflow, and Kubernetes.
• Apply power-management techniques to optimize GPU energy use.
• Design Linux-based tests to validate GPU performance and expand tests.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and best practices.
• Monitor trends in GPU industry and propose Linux-specific optimizations.
