Job summary

Base-2 Solutions, LLC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer - HPC & GPU Infrastructure for a 100% on-site role at the customer site in Bethesda, Maryland. You will design, develop, and optimize high-performance computing and GPU clusters to support Intelligence Community customers.

Responsibilities include installing HPC hardware, analyzing performance, managing Slurm/PBS/Airflow/Kubernetes, applying power-management, and maintaining tests and documentation; DoD certifications and Top Secret/SCI

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
12+ years of relevant systems engineering experience or equivalent.
DoD 8570.11 IAT Level II certification or higher.
US Citizenship required due to government contracts.

Responsibilities

Install and maintain GPU and HPC hardware on-premises and in the cloud.
Analyze HPC/GPU cluster performance; identify bottlenecks and optimize.
Install and configure Slurm, PBS, Apache Airflow, and Kubernetes.
Apply power-management techniques to optimize GPU power consumption on Linux.
Design and execute Linux-based tests to validate GPU performance and expand testing suite.
Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and best practices for GPU development.
