Nebius Group is seeking a Senior HPC Cluster Engineer to drive performance and reliability for our hyperscaler platform. You will optimize GPU clusters, InfiniBand networks, and related virtualization stacks, collaborating with hardware teams to support new GPU hardware and virtualization features.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting, automation, and proactive monitoring to ensure high availability in multi-GPU HPC environments.

Qualifications

• Experience with GPU clusters and HPC environments.
• Experience with Kubernetes, QEMU, and KVM.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot GPU/InfiniBand issues.
• Experience integrating new hardware into cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Tuning the performance of GPU clusters and InfiniBand networks to ensure optimal operation in HPC and GPU-based environments.
• Analyzing and troubleshooting the root cause of issues related to GPUs and InfiniBand networks, and proposing corrective actions.
• Integrating new hardware into the existing infrastructure, including support for new GPU hardware through software stacks like Kubernetes, QEMU, and KVM.
• Enhancing automation systems for proactive monitoring, detecting, and resolving issues in a complex system.
