Job summary

Radley James is seeking a Data Center Planning Lead for a client in the high frequency trading sector, to be based in NYC or Chicago. The role focuses on leading the expansion of HPC/AI infrastructure from a hands-on, technical project management perspective.

Responsibilities include managing the full HPC infrastructure project portfolio, coordinating DC expansion, and negotiating leases while overseeing compute, storage, and networking implementations.

Qualifications

• Experience managing HPC infrastructure projects and large scale data center projects.
• Experience managing relationships with contractors, leaseholders and vendors.
• Capacity and space planning expertise.
• Hands on experience with Compute, Storage, HPC and Networking.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full HPC infrastructure project portfolio.
• Drive prioritisation of infrastructure and DC expansion projects.
• Manage contractor and vendor relationships, negotiating and overseeing the full scope.
• Assist and lead negotiations of new leases for expanding footprint.
• Oversee implementation of compute, storage, network and HPC infra.
• Use AI tools day to day, assisting in project planning, reporting, analysis and operations.
