Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. seeks a Lead HPC & AI Infrastructure Architect to own architecture and direction for large-scale CPU and GPU platforms across on-prem, cloud, and specialized GPU providers.

You will translate scientific computing and AI requirements into secure, reliable, and cost-effective platforms for HPC workloads and model training. This hands-on leadership role spans design, validation, deployment, and lifecycle management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
• 10+ years in infrastructure, cloud engineering, or distributed systems.
• 5+ years delivering production HPC or GPU platforms.
• Experience with large-scale cluster deployments and workload performance improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own the HPC/AI infrastructure roadmap and reference architectures.
• Guide design for CPU/GPU topology, storage, and networks across on-prem and cloud.
• Lead architecture reviews, PoCs, and technical escalations.
• Partner with SRE, researchers, and vendors to deliver production-ready platforms.
