You will join a core team of industry specialists, working with the latest hardware and software, and collaborating closely with strategic customers to shape AI roadmaps. The role demands leadership, strong coding skills in C/C++, Python, and CUDA/HIP experience, plus a track record of engaging with clients to solve complex problems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Strong programming in C/C++ and Python; GPU kernel experience.
• Experience with open-source development and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Work with strategic customers to understand requirements and identify opportunities for AMD value.
• Close gaps in the AMD software stack to support customer solutions.
• Optimize communication primitives on GPU accelerators (NCCL/RCCL).
• Hands-on technical work with customers from PoC to production.
• Translate customer needs into feedback shaping AMD’s AI roadmap.
• Use Agentic AI to enhance productivity and automate workflows.
• Autonomously apply AMD technology to real-world problems.
• Apply a data-minded approach to target optimization.
• Debug issues and explore more efficient methods.
• Stay informed on software/hardware trends, especially algorithms and architecture.
