Job summary

Raymond James is seeking a Senior HP NonStop Engineer to analyze requirements and deliver robust back-office solutions. You will work on Corporate Actions, Trade Clearance, and Securities Transfer within the Back Office development team.

This role supports a hybrid schedule for candidates near our offices; remote work is allowed nationwide in the U.S., with on-site expectations 3 days a week for some locations.

Qualifications

• More than five (5) years of relevant development or engineering experience is highly preferred.
• Experience in HP NonStop COBOL85, HPNS SQL/MX and SQL/MP.
• Experience working on HP NonStop/Tandem Guardian OS application development.
• Full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop existing applications and contribute to development of new applications by analyzing and identifying areas for modification and improvement.
• Leverage AI platforms for documentation, test automation, support and respond to user It and business stakeholders.
• Monitor batch jobs, diagnose, and correct performance issues.
• Monitor, identify, and correct software defects and find creative ways to maintain fully functioning applications software.
• May lead assigned projects, including assigning tasks, coordinating efforts, and monitoring performance.
• May recommend new technologies and methodologies to management to meet business needs.
