Job summary

PH Development Group is seeking a part-time Community Manager to oversee senior apartment communities in Santa Rosa, CA. The role involves in-person site management, resident relations, and coordination with maintenance and other departments.

Expect about 24 hours weekly, with day/evening shifts and some weekends. Applicants should have at least two years of affordable housing management experience, familiarity with HUD LIHTC programs, and strong computer skills including Yardi Voyager.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience managing affordable housing developments (HUD LIHTC, Section 8 familiarity preferred).
• Knowledge of California housing laws (Fair Housing, Landlord/Tenant).
• Ability to perform complex income calculations and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Follow funding/ regulatory requirements for applications.
• Foster community through regular events and communications.
• Review applications, verify details, show units, and process leases in Yardi.
• Maintain rent rolls, deposits, and move-in/move-out procedures.
• Manage occupancy, waitlists, and Fair Housing compliance.
• Provide reports to Regional Portfolio Manager and maintain records.
