The Avid Hotel Memphis Southaven seeks an Executive Housekeeper to manage housekeeping and laundry operations, driving a positive work environment and exceptional guest service. You will lead a proactive team, ensure cleanliness, safety, and efficiency across front-line and back-of-house areas.

This role focuses on staffing, training, budgeting, and daily coordination with department heads to maintain high standards and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Ensure staffing levels meet daily business demands while managing productivity.
• Recruit and hire for all housekeeping positions.
• Oversee staffing, training, and budgeting for planning and organization.
• Maintain professional interactions with guests, employees, and interdepartmental teams.
• Communicate with department heads and front desk about guest requests and room conditions.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and laundry teams to align objectives.
• Lead safety and standard operating procedures training for staff.
• Inspect rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces for cleanliness and safety.
• Manage inventory, supplies, and linens for the department.
• Distribute assignments and supervise staff; address guest complaints as needed.
