Job summary

Vista Host Hotels Management & Development is seeking a Room Attendant for The Avid Hotel Memphis Southaven. You will maintain clean guest rooms and common areas, restock amenities, and report maintenance issues to ensure a top-quality guest experience.

The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently within a housekeeping team. Flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays may be required to support guest needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide a clean and safe environment for guests by cleaning guest rooms and common areas.
• Vacuum carpets, dust, clean floors and ensure surfaces meet cleanliness standards.
• Restock guest room amenities and deliver linens as needed.
• Respond to guest requests promptly (extra linens, items from front desk).
• Assist with deep cleaning and organization of common areas and lobby.
• Report safety, maintenance, or housekeeping concerns to management.
• Acknowledge and greet guests in public spaces and address their needs.
• Follow hotel policies and safety guidelines.
