The Houseperson at Avid Hotel Memphis Southaven, managed by Vista Host Management & Development, assists room attendants on assigned floors, handles linens, and maintains public areas to ensure guest rooms meet cleanliness standards. Responsibilities include delivering linens, supporting guest requests, and upholding safety and quality.

Applicants should be able to stand long hours, lift up to 50 lbs, and work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide a clean and safe environment by maintaining assigned areas.
• Collect dirty linens and transport to laundry; deliver fresh linens to carts.
• Clean and maintain lobby, hallways, meeting spaces.
• Strip linens and perform deep cleaning of assigned areas.
• Set up lobby and meeting room functions; assist with guest requests.
• Deliver service items to guest rooms and assist with luggage as needed.
• Complete daily assignments efficiently within the required timeframe.
• Report shortages or maintenance needs to management.
