UCLA Housing & Hospitality Services seeks a Principal Housekeeping Manager to oversee housekeeping for 3,638 off-campus apartment units, two condominium buildings, and three single-family homes. You will supervise a sizeable custodial team, manage scheduling, and ensure safety standards across 500,000 to 2.8 million sq ft of space.

The role requires substantial custodial experience, leadership ability, and familiarity with university policies.

Formación

• 3–4 years custodial experience in a large institution (Required)
• 2 years leading or managing teams (Required)
• Knowledge of University policies and AFSCME agreement regarding performance evaluations and discipline (Preferred)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and to walk, stand and climb as needed (Required)
• Ability to use safety procedures and properly handle cleaning chemicals (Required)

Responsabilidades

• Oversee housekeeping functions for multiple off-campus units and buildings.
• Supervise 16–24 full-time staff and up to 35 seasonal contractors.
• Assist in budgeting and managing department expenditures (~$2.8M).
