Job summary

PACIFC ADVISORY SERVICE in Nashville is seeking a Senior Moving Helper to join our Household Goods Moving team. You will support the Lead and Coordinator, ensuring belongings are packed, handled, transported, and stored safely and efficiently.

This hands-on role requires teamwork, professional communication, and a safety-conscious, detail-oriented approach. A valid Class C license is preferred; forklift experience is a plus, with overtime and overnight travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Class C driver's license and clean driving record.
• Experience in moving, household goods, logistics, or warehouse roles preferred.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Professional and respectful communication with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions accurately.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented.
• Willingness to travel overnight when required.

Responsibilities

• Pack, handle, load, unload, transport, and store customers' belongings safely and efficiently.
• Prepare and use packing materials, hand trucks, panel dollies, and other moving equipment.
• Determine when standard or special packing methods are required.
• Protect floors and walls during moves using protective materials.
• Use forklifts and other equipment to move items safely.
• Inspect items to prevent damage and ensure safe handling.
• Assist with loading/unloading of moving trucks and safe parking.
• Coordinate with Lead and Coordinator for smooth moves.
• Train and support team members on procedures and safety.
• Drive company vehicles as needed.
