QUICK USA is seeking a Household Goods Senior Helper in Nashville, TN. The role involves packing, loading, unloading, and moving customers’ belongings safely, with guidance to team members and support to the Lead and Coordinator.

You will train others, handle equipment, and ensure efficient operations while occasionally driving non-CDL vehicles. Weekend or overnight travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class C driver’s license with a safe driving history.
• Approximately one year of experience in household goods moving, logistics, warehouse operations, or a similar role preferred.
• Ability to work closely with a team in a respectful and professional manner.
• Ability to comprehend and accurately follow instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers and team members.
• Ability to train, guide, and support other team members.
• Ability to frequently stand, bend, twist, reach, lift, push, pull, and carry heavy objects repeatedly.

【Position】

Household Goods Senior Helper

【Essential Duties】

The position performs packing, handling, loading, unloading, storing, and moving customers’ belongings in a safe and efficient manner. The Senior Helper also supports the assigned Lead and Coordinator and provides training and guidance to team members as needed.

• Handle, carry, load, and unload customers’ belongings efficiently and safely in accordance with company procedures.
• Pack and store customers’ belongings in a safe, neat, and organized manner.
• Prepare necessary packing materials such as cartons and cushions, as well as tools and moving equipment such as hand trucks, panel dollies, and machine carts.
• Determine whether regular packing or special warehouse packing is required.
• Arrange Masonite boards and other protective materials to protect floors and surfaces during office moves.
• Ensure customers’ belongings are handled carefully to prevent damage during the move.
• Use assigned equipment such as forklifts, dollies, and carts to move customers’ belongings to designated storage areas.
• Train and guide team members on company procedures and proper packing, moving, and handling methods.
• Support and work closely with the assigned Lead and Coordinator to ensure safe and efficient moving operations.
• Assist with the safe parking and positioning of moving trucks as needed.
• Safely drive company vehicles, including non-CDL trucks, vans, and passenger vehicles, as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned to ensure successful and safe moving operations.

【Working Hours, Working Style】

8:00 AM–4:30 PM (On-site)

• Depending on the work location and assignment, employees may be required to start work as early as 6:00 AM.
• Overtime may be required depending on business needs.
• Overnight work/travel may be required approximately 1–3 times per month.

$18–$19/h DOE ($37,440–$39,520 annually)

Organization Relationships:

Will work closely with the Household Goods moving team, including the assigned Lead and Coordinator, as well as interact with customers at job sites.
