Job summary

Nippon Express USA is seeking a physical movers role within the Household Goods moving team. The position involves packing, handling, loading, unloading and storing customers' belongings safely and efficiently.

Candidates should have at least one year of experience, be able to work with a team, follow instructions, and be able to lift heavy objects; forklift experience is a plus. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• One-year experience in a similar role.
• Ability to work closely with a team in a respectful and professional manner.
• Ability to comprehend and follow instructions.
• Ability to frequently stand, bend, twist, reach, lift, push, pull, carry heavy objects repeatedly.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Handle, carry, load and unload the customer’s belongings safely and efficiently.
• Pack and store belongings neatly.
• Arrange packing materials such as cartons, cushions, tools and instruments.
• Judge whether regular packing or warehouse packing is required.
• Arrange Masonite plates for office moves.
• Ensure items are moved without damage.
• Operate equipment like forklift or dolly to move belongings.
• Assist the driver with safe parking of moving truck.
• Other duties as needed for successful and safe move.
