Job summary

Nippon Express USA is seeking a Moving Assistant to perform packing, handling, loading, unloading and storing of customers’ belongings in a safe, efficient manner on job sites. This role requires one year of related experience, the ability to work with a team respectfully, and the physical stamina to stand, bend, twist, reach, lift, and move heavy objects.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a similar role.
• Ability to work closely with a team in a respectful and professional manner.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, lift, push, pull, carry heavy objects repeatedly.
• Forklift experience a plus.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Handle, carry, load and unload the customer’s belongings efficiently and safely complying with procedures.
• Pack and store the customer’s belongings in a safe and neat manner.
• Arrange necessary packing materials and equipment for moves.
• Judge whether regular or special warehouse packing is required.
• Coordinate with drivers and team to ensure safe parking and moving operations.
• Assist the driver in safe vehicle parking and related duties as assigned.
