Job summary

Westin Austin Downtown is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to ensure the hotel's maintenance and upkeep standards meet WL, Brand, and Guest expectations. You will support the Chief Engineer and oversee engineering functions, while following safety procedures in repairs, installations, and routine maintenance.

You will read blueprints, hold a valid driver’s license, and bring 1–3 years of hotel or facilities maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and operating instructions.
• Valid driver's license and basic safety knowledge.
• 1–3 years of hotel or facilities maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hotel maintenance standards meeting WL, Brand, and Guest standards.
• Assist Chief Engineer in overseeing engineering functions.
• Perform repair, maintenance, installations safely and neatly.
• Repair mechanical failures including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
• Communicate with supervisors about materials and tools.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
