Job summary

Caesars Entertainment in Reno seeks a skilled general building repair technician to perform preventive maintenance across the property, covering mechanical, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, carpentry, upholstery, painting and electrical tasks.

You will follow safety rules, keep maintenance records, support events, and respond to work orders while upholding our service standards and DEI culture. This role requires dependable teamwork and a proactive approach to repairs.

Qualifications

Excellent communication skills and ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
Ability to understand and comply with hotel rules, safety policies, and procedures.
Proven ability to establish effective working relationships with staff.
Experience in general building maintenance or related hospitality environment preferred.
High School diploma or equivalent and minimum three years in building repair.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance and urgent repairs across property.
Monitor servicing effects and keep records of maintenance and testing.
Repair and replace materials on furniture, wallpaper, paint, drywall, and fixtures.
Handle basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical tasks.
Support events and hotel operations as needed.
