Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of facilities management experience in hotel or related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Stationary Engineer’s license if required by local code.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boiler operations and general maintenance skills.

Aufgaben

• Develop and implement plans to maintain property, equipment, grounds and assets in safe repair.
• Ensure the hotel complies with local, state and federal laws.
• Supervise and train Engineering staff in customer service, SOPs and loss prevention.
• Create and post all Engineering staff schedules.
• Create and adhere to annual budget for the department.
• Assist in developing financial forecasts and participate in P&L reviews.
• Develop preventive maintenance program for hotel equipment.
• Ensure emergency and life safety equipment is inspected and certified.
• Participate in energy conservation programs.
• Review guest and meeting planner feedback to resolve issues timely.
• Assist with vendor contracts controlled by engineering.
• Support Highgate Hotel programs and participate in MOD coverage.
