Highgate Hotels is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the hotel engineering team in NYC. You will oversee daily operations, manage maintenance programs, and ensure safety and compliance with corporate standards across all engineering activities.

The role requires strong supervisory experience, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing expertise, and the ability to coordinate with ownership and management on project execution and budgets.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a hotel engineering team.
• Knowledge of emergency and safety procedures.
• Ability to manage preventive maintenance programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the engineering department.
• Assume administrative and financial tasks in the Director's absence.
• Lead and train Engineering staff in service standards and safety.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
• Create and implement PM programs for building systems.
