Job summary

Aloft Scottsdale, operated by Crescent Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a Chief Engineer to lead and manage the property's maintenance operations. You will oversee preventive maintenance, life safety systems, and the hotel’s mechanical/electrical assets.

You will hire, train, and supervise the engineering team, troubleshoot HVAC/plumbing issues, coordinate with department heads, and drive safety and energy initiatives in line with Crescent standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Self-starting personality with a professional demeanor.
• Ability to supervise and develop maintenance staff.
• Proficiency in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise preventive maintenance and repairs of property and equipment.
• Monitor life safety systems and ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Oversee maintenance of mechanical/electrical systems, FF&E, and grounds.
• Interview, hire, train, evaluate performance, and manage disciplinary actions.
