Job summary

The Crescent Hotels Group seeks an experienced Chief Engineer for a busy property in Old Town Scottsdale. You will supervise preventive maintenance, monitor life safety systems, and administer the engineering department to protect assets and guests.

You will lead a team across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and grounds, coordinate with the General Manager on capital plans, and uphold Crescent’s standards while maintaining safe, efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, train, evaluate technicians and provide guidance.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in HVAC, electrical, plumbing and other systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on scheduled basis.
• Address guest questions, complaints and requests to ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate maintenance needs with hotel department heads for timely response.
• Service the pool and maintain chemical levels and filters; complete logs.
• Maintain exterior upkeep and curb appeal, including grounds and painting.
• Ensure compliance with Crescent standards and follow-up on inspections.
