Claremont Companies, Inc. is seeking a Chief Engineer to oversee hotel maintenance operations, including mechanical, electrical, HVAC and building systems. You will lead the engineering team, manage vendor relationships and ensure the property remains safe and well-maintained.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of building or hotel maintenance experience.
• Experience with electrical and mechanical systems required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Associate’s degree or certification in Building Maintenance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of hotel systems including mechanical, electrical, HVAC and building systems.
• Hire, train, supervise and discipline maintenance staff and contractors.
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs and energy efficiency initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with codes, safety and corporate purchasing policies.
• Manage vendor relationships and bids, budgets and schedules.
