Job summary

Soho House & Co in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead day-to-day management of the Venice Beach project, aiming to open by Q2 2027. You will coordinate with in-house design and development teams and external consultants to deliver the medium-scale adaptive reuse health club, restaurant, and bar on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Construction Manager/Project Manager/Development Manager or similar leading large-scale redevelopments
• 5+ completed California-based construction/re-development projects incl. Shell & Core and hospitality fit-out
• Adaptive reuse renovation experience is essential
• Strong knowledge of California State building codes
• Experience negotiating multi-trade packages and managing GC/trade networks in Southern California
• Experience in hospitality development environments and in design-construction integration

Responsibilities

• Manage General Contractor and subcontractors on site through all project phases
• Be primary on-site contact for GC and subcontractors
• Coordinate admin with subcontractors and vendors to maintain relationships
• Oversee daily site activity with Superintendent to ensure safety, schedule and quality
• Monitor site safety compliance across all parties and training requirements
• Identify and resolve field issues to prevent delays
• Lead weekly site progress and coordination meetings
• Coordinate procurement and delivery timelines to keep installations on schedule
• Ensure contractors perform per contracts and drawings
• Prepare and issue RFPs and bid packages for scopes
• Review bids and lead buyout negotiations through to contracts
• Prepare and process Letters of Intent and contracts with awarded subs
• Review submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings coordinating inputs across teams
• Maintain master construction schedule with rolling look-aheads and communicate changes
• Process change orders and verify payment applications (AIA) for accuracy
• Monitor project budget and report variances
• Closeout documentation and handover to operations
