Job summary

Soho House seeks a Senior Project Manager to run day-to-day management of the Flatiron project in New York, reporting to the Project Director. You will coordinate in-house design and development teams and external consultants to deliver a large-scale urban hotel, restaurant, bar, and health club, targeting a Q4 2027 opening.

The role requires strong leadership, on-site execution, safety and schedule control, and close collaboration with the general contractor.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Construction/Development leadership roles overseeing large-scale redevelopments.
• 5+ NY-area based projects including Shell & Core and high-end hospitality fit-out experience.
• Historic renovation experience is required.
• Strong understanding of NYC building codes.
• Willingness to travel within the United States and internationally 2–4 times per year.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate design and development teams to deliver on program, budget and quality standards.
• Manage General Contractor and trade subcontractors on site through pre-construction, construction, commissioning and closeout.
• Prepare and issue RFPs and bid packages, negotiate contracts and change orders.
• Develop and maintain the master construction schedule with rolling 4-week look-aheads.
• Monitor safety and ensure on-site compliance and quality control.
• Lead weekly site progress meetings with GC, trades and design/consultant teams.
