Job summary

Soho House Flatiron in New York is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead day-to-day management of a large-scale hotel/restaurant/health club redevelopment. You will coordinate in-house design and development teams, consultants, and contractors to deliver on schedule, budget, and quality, reporting to the Project Director and Americas Development Director.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience in a Construction Manager/Project Manager/Development Manager role leading large-scale redevelopments.
• Proven track record of 5+ NY-area construction/re-development projects including Shell & Core and high-end hospitality Fitout.
• Historic renovation experience is a must.
• Intimate understanding of New York City building codes.
• Extensive experience negotiating multi-trade construction packages and maintaining GC/trade network in NYC and Tri-State.
• Experience in a global hospitality, lifestyle or luxury brand environment.
• Ability to travel within the United States and 2-4 times per year internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate with in-house design and development teams and external consultants to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Manage General Contractor and trade subcontractors on site through pre-construction, construction, commissioning and closeout.
• Lead weekly site progress meetings and coordinate procurement/delivery timelines.
• Monitor safety, schedule and budget, and resolve field issues and risks.
• Oversee handover to operations with quality control and snagging completed.
