Job summary

Octagon is seeking a Senior Event Executive, Hospitality to plan and execute premium event experiences for a Home Improvement client. You will manage logistics, budgets, decor, gifting, and vendor relationships, working with a national team to deliver flawless guest experiences.

The role requires 3+ years in events/hospitality, strong organization, and the ability to travel 20-45% domestically. Hybrid schedule based in Stamford, with potential travel to client sites across the U.S.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in events, hospitality or related field.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple programs.
• Ability to balance client requests with budgets and timelines.
• Flexibility to travel domestically and work weekends/holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of event logistics across hospitality programs.
• Develop creative hospitality experiences and guest touchpoints.
• Manage vendor relationships, timelines, budgets, and on-site execution.
• Oversee gifting, signage, collateral, and branded decor for guest experiences.
• Support food and beverage operations, menu timing, and dietary needs.
• Prepare status updates, guides, and staff documents; assist with reports.
