Job summary
AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to lead and contribute to medication-use processes across shifts. You will collaborate with pharmacists, nurses, and other clinicians to ensure safe, efficient patient care and to support operational readiness in a dynamic hospital pharmacy.
Ideal candidates bring hospital pharmacy experience, a valid RPhT, and strong terminology and communication skills.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of contemporary hospital pharmacy experience [Required]
- Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) [Required]
- Must read, write, and speak conversational English [Required]
- Knowledge of medical terminology [Required]
- Ability to follow direction and work under supervision of a pharmacist [Required]
Responsibilities
- Lead or participate in audits, documentation, and medication-use process improvements.
- Prepare reports and support regulatory inspections and accreditation readiness.
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff, nurses, and clinicians to optimize patient care.
- Mentor technicians and support onboarding, competency validation, and peer development.
- Manage pharmacy automation systems, ADCs, and software platforms; assist with inventory and sterile compounding.
