Job summary

CarolinaEast Health System is seeking a facilities technician to ensure the safe operation of hospital building systems at our New Bern campus. You will follow blueprints, drawings, and verbal instructions to maintain electrical and mechanical systems, with patient safety and service quality as top priorities.

Requirements include a high school diploma, electrical/mechanical coursework or equivalent experience, and at least seven years in electrical/mechanical repairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Electrical and mechanical courses or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of seven years of experience in electrical and/or mechanical repairs.
• Work from written or verbal instructions, work from sketches or drawings, work from blue prints.
