Job summary

CarolinaEast Health System is seeking a facilities technician to ensure the safe operation of hospital building systems at our New Bern campus. You will follow blueprints, drawings, and verbal instructions to maintain electrical and mechanical systems, with patient safety and service quality as top priorities.

Requirements include a high school diploma, electrical/mechanical coursework or equivalent experience, and at least seven years in electrical/mechanical repairs.

Job Summary

The person in this position will be responsible for the safe operation of the hospital building systems. An understanding of hospital practices and standards is a must to insure safety to himself, coworkers, visitors, and patients in the hospital. Only the highest standards in both quality and safety in a hospital environment will be expected.
