Job summary

Saint Mary’s Hospice, part of the Optum family via LHC Group, seeks a Clinical Director to assist the Executive Director in clinical oversight, ensuring patient eligibility and quality care. You will supervise staff, maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, and contribute to profitability while upholding agency philosophy.

The role includes direct oversight of clinical operations, education for staff, and liaison among staff, patients, families, and the Governing Body.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Current Driver’s License and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• Preferred: CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with hospice regulations, laws, and policies.
• Oversee day-to-day clinical operations and staff training.
• Monitor patient care to meet current nursing and medical standards.
• Promote hospice education to referral sources and the community.
• Collaborate with hospice physicians and community doctors to drive clinical excellence.
• Oversee billing processes to ensure regulatory compliance and accuracy.
