Job summary

Phantom Brands is seeking an experienced Home Goods Production Coordinator in New York City. You will manage the full production lifecycle, collaborate across design, merchandising, and sales, and maintain strong overseas supplier relationships to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires 5–10 years in home goods production, with hands-on expertise in sampling, costing, and quality control. The position is 100% in-house, Monday–Friday, in New York City.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of hands-on production experience in home goods.
• Established relationships with factories in China.
• Experience managing production across multiple home goods categories.
• Strong knowledge of overseas manufacturing processes, timelines, and QC.
• Experience negotiating factory pricing, MOQs, lead times and costs.
• Ability to manage multiple product categories, vendors, and production schedules.
• Understanding of product development, sampling, packaging, and mass production.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with international vendors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all stages of production from development and sampling through manufacturing and shipment.
• Maintain and expand relationships with Chinese factories and partners.
• Collaborate with design, merchandising, and sales to meet specs, quality, and costs.
• Negotiate pricing, MOQs, lead times, and terms with overseas factories.
• Coordinate product samples, review quality, communicate revisions, and approve before mass production.
• Maintain detailed production schedules and monitor factory progress.
• Ensure products meet quality expectations and retailer requirements.
• Serve as primary contact for overseas vendors and resolve production issues.
• Coordinate purchase orders, packaging requirements, and shipping timelines with internal teams.
