Job summary

Citizens in Johnston, RI is seeking a Home Equity Senior Processor to review and evaluate loan documentation, communicate with customers, and ensure information is complete and accurate throughout the application process.

You will work with loan officers and branches to obtain required documents, make welcome calls on new files, and ensure compliance with bank, state and federal regulations, including Fair Lending and Reg B.

Qualifications

• 5 years of Retail Financial Services experience.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Strong documentation and data entry accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Enter clear, concise comments, edit information and document application status on loan systems.
• Review vendor reports, contact customers, loan officers and branches to obtain routine loan documentation.
• Resolve documentation issues for new loan applications.
• Interact with customers.
• Work with loan officers and branches to obtain required documents, review titles, appraisals, and income documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Make welcome calls on new files and maintain the department's call cadence to inform customers.
• Document call cadence and results in the system of record for file status.
• Provide on-the-job training for newly hired processors.
• Apply bank, state and federal regulations to ensure compliance.
