Job summary

Texadia Systems in Addison, TX seeks a Luxury Residential Service Technician to support and troubleshoot AV and automation systems on residential projects. You will assist with installs, commissioning, and client walkthroughs, while mentoring junior staff and ensuring high-quality service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; degree in electronics, networking, audio or tech is a plus.
• Minimum of 4 years in residential technology industry; troubleshooting and installation of AV/security/home automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle service/support calls and troubleshoot to ensure timely completion and high quality.
• Tweak, update and write automation control system programs/code.
• Assist with pre-installation TM site surveys as needed.
• Inspect and test racks in-house or onsite at client location.
• Post-project client walkthrough and system overview.
• Provide client training and system overview.
• Perform wiring/rigging/installation with proper safety.
• Identify and solve issues impacting service calls or projects.
• Communicate progress daily to Service Coordinator and client.
• Lead and mentor junior staff as needed.
• Perform system-level diagnostics for AV, security, control/automation, and network systems.
