Job summary

Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated is seeking an Accountant III to manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for HOA entities. The role includes forecasting, board reporting, audits, and cross‑functional collaboration with operational partners.

The candidate will prepare reconciliations, perform variance analyses, and support the annual budget process while maintaining internal controls and timely reporting to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Minimum four (4) years of relevant experience in Accounting.
• Timeshare / Hospitality industry experience a plus.
• Public Accounting experience a plus.
• CPA license or CPA candidate preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal skills to communicate effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in dynamic environments and successfully navigate organizational change.
• Exceptional team player with the ability to collaborate on projects.
• Proficient in time management; the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to effectively communicate results.
• Able to interpret and create spreadsheets.
• Use of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of Microsoft D365 a plus.
• Experience in presenting and discussing financial information.

Responsibilities

• Monthly journal entries and reconciliations.
• Preparation of financial analysis and reporting.
• Forecast and Budget Support.
• Quarterly Board Reporting.
• Variance explanations.
• Ad hoc reporting through design and innovation.
• Prepare, review and oversee monthly reconciliations; research ledger accounts to minimize risk and protect company assets and document findings.
• Prepare, analyze, and reconcile monthly operational and financial reporting including variance explanations to budget and forecast.
• Create and record journal entries in accordance with GAAP with supporting documentation.
• Provide annual audit support and assist with tax workpapers.
