You will collaborate with systems engineers, developers, and program managers to define safety-critical software requirements and verify them through tests to enable repeatable, safe missions.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in CS, CE, aerospace, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of professional software experience.
• Experience in software requirements, verification plans, and test cases.
• Experience across systems and software disciplines; lead cross-functional teams.
• Experience in spacecraft design and operations.
• Experience with fault management design.
• Ability to earn trust and contribute to an inclusive culture.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Define system autonomy behaviors and software requirements with systems engineers and PMs.
• Lead team members on software systems engineering best practices.
• Set direction for requirements, verification events, and test cases.
• Manage hardware-software integration across vehicle and mission design teams.
• Ensure safety-critical software processes produce verifiable, safe missions.
