Job summary

FUJIFILM Healthcare Americas Corporation is seeking a Principal HL7 Integration Engineer to oversee HL7 integration across Synapse product lines, from design to go-live. You will work with MI teams to deliver end-to-end HL7 architectures and complex data migrations in a fast-paced, multi-vendor healthcare IT environment.

Qualifications

• Expert IT knowledge for clinical environments, esp. radiology, LIS, VNA workflows.
• Strong analytical, leadership, project management and communication skills.
• BS/BE in computer science or related field.
• HL-7 and DICOM standards expertise.
• Experience with Oracle and SQL Server.
• 6–8 years HL7 integration in hospital settings.
• Able to implement HL7 integration with Fuji Synapse products.
• Knowledge of HL-7 v2, DICOM, FHIR and IHE profiles.
• Familiar with Epic, Cerner, Athena, and other EMR systems.
• Scripting: Lua, JavaScript, Python; interface engines: Iguana, Rhapsody, Mirth, Cloverleaf, CorePoint, Ensemble.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; team player.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with MI PM to deliver Synapse HL7 integration solutions.
• Serve as primary technical resource for HL7 implementations across Synapse product lines.
• Design end-to-end HL7 integration architectures (inbound/outbound/bidirectional).
• Lead data migrations, interface integrations, and third-party system integrations.
• Create reusable integration patterns and secure end-to-end communications.
• Develop extensive design documentation, test plans, and validation procedures.
• Learn new Synapse and third-party products as released.
