Job summary

McKesson seeks an Integration Engineer - FCS to design, develop, and support enterprise interoperability solutions enabling secure data exchange across clinical, operational, and third-party systems. You will work with architects, cybersecurity partners, and business stakeholders to modernize healthcare integrations using HL7, FHIR, SMART on FHIR, REST, and InterSystems HealthConnect.

Qualifications

4+ years designing, developing, troubleshooting, and supporting healthcare integrations.
Experience with HL7 v2.x messaging standards.
Experience developing or supporting FHIR and REST APIs.
Experience with healthcare interoperability and data exchange solutions.
Experience with message transformation, routing, orchestration, and interface design.
Experience using Git for source control and CI/CD deployment processes.
Knowledge of HIPAA-regulated environments.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and support healthcare integrations using HealthConnect, Ensemble, and IRIS.
Develop HL7 v2.x interfaces (ADT, ORM, ORU, SIU, DFT, MDM).
Build and support FHIR and SMART on FHIR APIs and REST services.
Design transformation, routing, orchestration, validation, and exception handling.
Troubleshoot interface failures and data quality issues.
Implement source control and automated deployments with Git and CI/CD.
Monitor integration platforms to improve reliability and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure healthcare solutions.
