Job summary

FUJIFILM Healthcare Americas Corporation seeks a Principal HL7 Integration Engineer to lead HL7 integration projects for Synapse MI products. You will architect end-to-end HL7 interfaces, perform data migrations, and develop secure, scalable solutions.

Required are 6–8 years HL7 integration experience in healthcare, strong HL7 v2/DICOM/FHIR knowledge, and hands-on with interface engines. Excellent communication, project mgmt, and ability to work across multiple teams are essential.

Qualifications

• BS/BE or equivalent in computer field (or AA with significant related experience).
• Extensive HL7 integration experience in hospital/healthcare environments.
• Proven HL7 v2, DICOM, FHIR and IHE knowledge.
• Experience with Oracle and SQL Server databases.
• Scripting ability (Lua, JavaScript, Python) for data transformation.
• Hands-on with interface engines (Iguana, Rhapsody, Mirth Connect, Cloverleaf, CorePoint, Ensemble).
• Strong communication, project management, and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead HL7 integration projects across Synapse MI product lines (design end-to-end HL7 architectures).
• Deliver enterprise-grade data migrations and interface integrations.
• Develop reusable integration patterns and secure end-to-end communications.
• Create customer-focused solution design documentation and test procedures.
• Mentor peers and participate in SME programs.
• Collaborate with sales, field service, and customers to ensure project success.
