Job summary

FUJIFILM Healthcare Americas Corporation is seeking a Principal HL7 Integration Engineer to oversee HL7 integration for Synapse MI products. You will design end‑to‑end HL7 architectures, lead complex data migrations, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure compliant, secure integrations.

The role requires expert HL7, DICOM, and interoperability knowledge, with extensive experience in hospital environments and interface engines.

Qualifications

• Extensive HL7 and DICOM knowledge in clinical environments.
• Experience with HL7 v2, FHIR, DICOM, and IHE profiles.
• 5–8 years HL7 integration in hospital settings.
• Experience integrating Synapse products with third‑party EHR/EMR/LIS/PACS systems.
• Strong scripting for data transformation (Lua, JavaScript, Python).

Responsibilities

• Lead HL7 integration designs across Synapse product lines.
• Develop end‑to‑end HL7 architectures (inbound/outbound/bidirectional).
• Manage data migrations and interface conversions.
• Create reusable integration patterns and secure communications.
• Document solutions, test plans, and validation procedures.
